You Tube Casting?

so i was kinda thinkin of starting to make some youtube videos on like Ksuns dungeons, kats mansion and other projects people have been working on to maby get the word out for our server.

After floating around on you tube checking out the videos people have of just random builds/ dungeons i feel like we are way ahead of the curve. ide need some help form anyone that knos any good Recording programs, and how we think we should make these videos such as like just me talking or like have us all n mumble just jokeing around.

Do I have a solution for you. My room mates are hard core into video editing and making. I will ask them tonight what they think and maybe get them in on this to help out the server. one of them has already hopped on for a bit (xblitz) and the other one is antzy as balls to hop on. They can use my account to fly around and take the movies so we don't have to give them any special permissions and then we can transfer the info to their computers. We also have sound editing and recording software that we have been messing with over the past week so we can possibly set up an entire epic trailer for our site.

I actually just talked with blitz and he said he will do it... if he gets a somewhat big plot of land for a town.. this will obviously be something we talk about on friday but I'm just throwing out a possible option.

Hello, I use fraps. I have the paid fraps that does not have the watermark in it. I can record on normal with no lag. If you would like, i can record any kind of videos. Or i could you the link to were i got it and kind of show you how to use it.

Solution everyone make videos and vote on the best ones instead of having just one person do it?

i wouldnt just vote on who has the best, i would put together parts that would go together, but I think gambit really wants to do this one. So, Gambit. Look up Premier and After effects for the video editing and then audacity for sound editing. Fraps is the video capture program of choice. Good quality and free. just be ready to be using ALOT of hard drive space because fraps movie clips are fairly large in size. I don't know your movie making experience but Ill just throw out the tip to take clips that you might not even think you will use. For the music I reccomend something along the classical style that has an epic feel to it. Harmonized horns and S&!% like that. Sort of like fallout style music or lord of the rings. Everyone uses techno or dubstep or some other electronic music for their minecraft vids...

My buddies still want to make a video of their own so Ill post a link to it once its all done. We Havent started yet due to alot of other things on our plate, but we will get around to it.

ya man i dont mind if u guys throw together something and lable it as remnant district. i made this thread bc i wanted to showcase my builds and possibly do a few tutorials or timelaps builds. didnt mean to be a dick just hate it wen people snag my ideas.

i think u guys r better quilified by far for a nice clean vid with like little to no commentarty.

If it's going to be a channel on youtube why not have everybody make videos like crow is suggesting. I plan to one day have some animations about our server that I would like to post as well.

Jack and I have been recording some video game stuff for a while... We were planning on doing some Minecraft stuff... But if we could just play and throw a Remnant District tag on there, would that work?

And I think videos on the builds would be kick-ass. I use Final Cut, but adobe premiere is pretty nice.
